L/FR3032 The Monstrous and Fablous Renaissance
CL1025 CCI The World the Text and Critic I

Visit Shakespeare’s Renaissance world in London where he staged his plays throughout his career and where you’ll see presentations of Macbeth (one of his most famous tragedies) and As You Like It (one of his most famous comedies) at the openair Globe Theatre — the “wooden O.” See the portraits of the Renaissance figures who marked Shakespeare’s world at the National Portrait Gallery and the paintings emblematic of that world at the National Gallery. See copies of the First Folio (1623) on exhibition at The British Library, marking the 400th year of its compilation, before returning to Paris by Eurostar.
