II Festival de la Bande dessinée opening with artist Sara Lomuscio

University Room: Judith Hermanson Ogilvie Grand Salon (C-102)
Monday, April 8, 2024 - 18:30

After a hugely successful first year, we are thrilled to welcome the II Festival de BD (French Comics and Graphic Novels Festival) back to campus, organized by Professor Anne-Marie Picard, the French Department, and the Library.

This year’s topic is La bande dessinée dans le tumulte de l’Histoire : Résistances, Révolutions. Join us to discover the role of graphic novels in the turmoil of history from different angles.

To mark the start of the festival, there will be an opening event on April 8 with artist Sara Lomuscio who will present “Graphic Narratives: Shaping History Beyond Words - A graphic Artist’s perspective”.
