This contemporary ballet explores and adapts the Shakespearian myth. Three figures are on the stage : Juliette, rebel and free; Roméo, young and insolent; and Sister Laurence, narrator and slam-poet.
A forbidden love starts in a city filled with hatred and violence. They want to run away, break their boundaries and be free. The poetry of Sister Laurence unveils the hidden thoughts and tensions. Each word prolongates a movement; each dance echoes a word.
