CL2061 Worlds of Wine II: From the Mediterranean Basin to the World
AR1020 Materials and Techniques of the Masters

This trip will take students off the beaten path and to the heart of Tuscany: discover the art and architecture of the medieval cities of Siena and Arezzo and how the Etruscans and Romans laid the foundations for the region’s contemporary wine production. You will visit a winemaker, learn about the particularities of local wines and how they’re produced. You will also visit the cultural highlights of the birthplaces of Piero della Francesca and Giorgio Vasari, learning about Renaissance fresco techniques and medieval and Baroque art and architecture.


Trip cost: €890
Includes round trip transportation to the destination, accommodation with breakfast, one group meal, local visits, professors trip cost and VAT.
