University Room: Fine Arts Gallery
Combes Art Gallery | 6, rue du Colonel Combes 75007 Paris
Wednesday, February 13, 2019 - 18:00

This exhibition celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Youth Ambassadors for Community Service program. It features portraits of Youth Ambassadors alumni, who participated in this exchange program between 2008 and 2018. In association with the US Embassy, join the AUP community for a special Vernissage of this exhibition and help celebrate an incredible program.

About the program

Since the program’s creation in 2008, high school students from historically underserved and low-income regions throughout France who demonstrate leadership potential and a passion for community service apply through a competitive essay and interview process to represent their country as Youth Ambassadors.  The program includes a year of intensive training and teambuilding activities in France, a two-week visit to the U.S., and a “Weekend of Reflection” during which participants reflect on their experiences as Youth Ambassadors and brainstorm on how to apply their new skills to better serve their communities.  This key Embassy youth engagement program is led in cooperation with the French government.
