Students on a theater trip in Iceland.
Join us for a reading from, and discussion of, the new novel, See You Through, co-written by Alex Houen and Geoff Gilbert. This collaborative fiction/poem, written online during the pandemic, considers the politics and affect of facial recognition technologies, the tenderness of relations among humans and animals, and the 'sumptuary destruction of surveillance capitalism'.
Amanda Dennis, author of Her Here and co-director of the MFA in Creative Writing at AUP, will open a conversation about the novel.
Wine will be served.
