AUP's Woke Week Committee brings you the Privilege Walk. Come participate in a real-life, real-time experiment and understand how certain privileges may have impacted your life and how the access (or lack thereof,) to such privileges may impact the lives of others.
Meet us at on the first floor of Combes at 7 on February 9th to come participate in or support our event. Learn how simple things such as being able to get clean water in your home is considered a societal privilege. See in real time scenario featuring your peers, just how impactful "privilege" can be.
After the walk, there will be some quick readings from Comp Lit students of their own personal narratives. That will be followed by discussion and, of course, pizza. Come participate and get #woke
