On this eve of the 2017 French presidential elections, it would seem that we are once again at a crossroads. In order to foster debate and reflection during this critical moment, we have invited a Sociologist, Dorit Geva from the faculty of the CEU who is currently working on the far right in France. Her talk is entitled 'Notre président est une présidente': Populism, Gender, and the National Front." Dorit is a leading sociologist in the field of gender and the state.

Please come and join us for this important event, which will be held on April 19, 18h30 C104. Dorit Geva's expertise is in political sociology, comparative and historical sociology, economic sociology, and feminist social theory.
