Join us for an intimate conversation hosted by the AUP Library with acclaimed trumpeter Hermon Mehari as we explore the living legacy of Black American jazz. Through stories, reflections, and musical insight, Mehari will discuss jazz as a cultural force shaped by Black innovation, resilience, and creativity. Organized by the Library team for Black History Month, this event centers jazz not just as music, but as a living expression of Black American life and artistry.
