Fashion Talks at AUP: Between Despair and Hope

'Giulia Mensitieri opens this year's Fashion Talks at AUP entitled: Between Despair and Hope, organized by Professor Renate Stauss and Professor Sophie Kurkdjian. Giulia will lead the discussion with a presentation on her book, The Most Beautiful Job in the World: Lifting the Veil on the Fashion Industry.

About Giulia

Giulia Mensitieri holds a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology and Ethnology from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales of Paris. She is a research fellow at the IDHES of Nanterre. She studies the transformations of labor, new forms of dominations and exploitations, and the political weight of imaginaries through fashion. She is the author of The Most Beautiful Job in the World.
