AUP graduation ceremony at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
The George and Irina Schaeffer Center for the Study of Genocide, Human Rights and Conflict Prevention welcomes Yasmeen Daher(University of Potsdam) and Elad Lapidot (University of Lille) to talk about their scholarship and activism in the Association of Palestinian and Jewish Academics (PJA), based in Germany.
The PJA includes scholars born and raised in Palestine/Israel and in the diaspora, who are specialists of the histories, religions, cultures and politics of the region. They share a vision of equal rights and fair and democratic representation for the people in the region, and fight both anti-Palestinian racism and antisemitism.
