Michael Hudson is a senior editor at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and author of The Monster: How a Gang of Predatory Lenders Fleeced America – And Spawned a Global Crisis [Times Books, 2010]. He is a former Wall Street Journal staff reporter. He is currently working as a reporter, writer and editor on ICIJ's "Panama Papers" investigation and was project editor for "Evicted and Abandoned," ICIJ's investigation into the World Bank's human rights record. His work has won many honors, including the Overseas Press Club Award and two George Polk Awards. His exposés of mortgage and banking fraud prompted media commentators to call him the reporter "who beat the world on subprime abuses" and "the guru of all things predatory lending."
