Please join us for Family Orientation Spring 2026. This program will include pre-recorded videos, virtual and in-person events, and will give you the opportunity to become better acquainted with AUP’s campus, our academic programs and the resources available to your student on campus. Registration is not needed for the pre-recorded and virtual events. If you plan to join us in Paris in January 2026, registration is now open. We look forward to meeting you soon.

Family Relations Welcome to AUP for All Families

All families are invited to join us for Family Relations Welcome to AUP virtual orientation session designed to help families support their students as they prepare to land in Paris.

We’ll introduce you to AUP’s Family Relations team, share our Family Resource Guide filled with helpful information, and offer tips on how you can best support your student during this exciting transition. The AUP Admissions team will also join us to answer any last-minute pre-arrival questions you may have. Plus, you'll learn about our Family Café Society, a space for families to stay connected throughout the year.

Campus Resources for Your Degree-Seeking Student or Transfer Student

Families of students who plan to graduate from AUP, please join us for this orientation session where you’ll learn about the essential resources available to support your student’s success throughout their academic journey at AUP.

During this session, you’ll get an overview of:

  • ACE/GPS/ARC: Explore the Academic Career and Engagement (ACE) Center, Global Professional Skills (GPS) program, and Academic Resource Center (ARC)

Families of students who plan to be at AUP for one semester or one year, please join this orientation session where you’ll learn about the essential resources available to support your student’s success during their time at AUP.

During this session, you’ll get an overview of:

All families are invited to join this session to gain valuable insights into your student’s experience both on and off campus at AUP.

This session will cover:

  • Safety On & Off Campus: Learn about AUP’s comprehensive safety protocols, including campus security measures, emergency procedures, and tips for navigating Paris safely.
  • Health Care Resources: Discover the on-campus health services available to students, as well as guidance on accessing their AUP Health Insurance benefits.
  • Student Development Resources: Explore the wide range of support services designed to help students thrive— from academic advising and mental health counseling to career development and student engagement opportunities.

This session will equip families with essential information to support their students’ well-being and success throughout their time at AUP.

Landing Day & Orientation Overview For Families of Degree Seeking & Transfer Students

Families of students who plan to graduate from AUP, please join this session, designed to help families of degree seeking students feel confident and prepared for the start of their AUP journey.

This session will cover:

  • Landing Day & Arrival Experience: From the moment students land, AUP staff will be on hand to assist with airport arrival logistics and guide them through housing check-in. Families will have the opportunity to meet staff, ask questions, and ensure their students settle in comfortably.
  • First-Year Success Day: This student-only, full day essential session introduces students to the academic resources and support services available at AUP. It covers tips for thriving in their first year, building connections, and making the most of their university experience.
  • Student Orientation: During the following days, students will participate in a comprehensive orientation program covering essential practicalities, including: Phones & Banking: Guidance on setting up local phone plans and opening a French bank account.
  • Transportation: Assistance with obtaining the Navigo pass for seamless access to the Paris public transportation network.
  • Campus Resources: Introductions to student services, academic support, and cultural integration activities.

  • 📚Campus Resources for your Student: 1:30-3:00PM 
    Hear from Student Life and Academic Affairs how AUP supports your student during their time on campus and at AUP. 
  • 🎤 Leadership Welcome: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM 
    Hear from AUP’s leadership team about the university’s vision, values, and commitment to student success.
  • 🏘️Neighborhood Walking Tour: 4:30-5:00PM
    Learn about our corner of the 7eme as you make your way to the AuRevior Cocktail 
  • 🥂 Au Revoir Cocktail: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
    Mingle with fellow families, faculty, and staff over drinks and hors d'oeuvres as we toast to the exciting year ahead.
