Family Orientation Fall 2023
About
Each semester, The American University of Paris welcomes parents and families of incoming students to discover the University and campus life through AUP Family Orientation. Through a series of virtual and in-person events, our faculty and staff will guide you through important topics and welcome you into our global community.

Tuesday, August 15 - Parent & Family Relations Welcome to AUP
Join us for an introduction to the AUP family community and some ways you can support your student in these last few weeks at home.
Thursday, August 17 - Campus Resources for Your Student
Join this session to learn more about how your student can be involved on campus, academic resources and our signature GPS co-curricular program.
Tuesday, August 22 - Campus Life, Health & Safety
This event will focus on safety on and off campus, the on and off campus health resources, and ways to prepare your student for life at AUP.
Wednesday, August 23 - Landing Day & Orientation Overview
Join us as you get ready to depart, in this session we will talk about arriving in Paris, moving into student housing, student orientation, phones, banking and Metro Navigo passes.
In-Person Orientation in Paris: Schedule Now Available
For the in-person portion of Family Orientation, you are invited to join your student on campus for a welcome from staff, faculty and leadership, as well as campus tours, information workshops, and more.

Wednesday, August 30 - Leadership Welcome to AUP and Bon Voyage Cocktail
Join us to hear from the AUP leadership team as we welcome you to our community and then say à bientôt at the beautiful Chateauform Garden, located at 49 rue Saint Dominique, Paris 75007.
- Degree Seeking Undergraduate, Transfer and Graduate Families: 2-3:30pm
- Visiting, Partner and First Year Abroad Families: 4-5:30pm
- Bon Voyage Cocktail: 6-8pm
