Instructional Technology

ARC provides administration and support for various instructional technologies such as Blackboard, Turnitin, Ally, Collaborate, and Screencast-O-Matic. Nominating a Tutor

Faculty wishing to nominate one or more of their students for a tutoring position in ARC or the Writing Lab may use our online tutor nomination form.

Plagiarism and Academic Integrity

ARC and the Writing Lab work closely with the academicintegrityataup.edu (Office of Academic Integrity). We help students avoid plagiarism and teach them how to cite their sources. We also serve as consultants to the AUP Honor Board. Support for faculty in combating plagiarism and increasing awareness among their students is also available in ARC. Faculty wishing to report violations of academic integrity should contact the Office of Academic Integrity and use the incident resolution form [pdf].

Workshops on Demand

ARC can help faculty organize themed workshops for small groups or academic departments. We also (in collaboration with the Teaching and Learning Center and the Library) support experimental and pedagogical initiatives, as well as projects in the digital humanities. Please contact us at ARCataup.edu for further information.
