To Qualify for Global Professional Skills Certificate and CCX credit, undergraduate students must complete the 6 GPS workshops and the Career Field Study - Working with Others, described below, by the end of their senior year.
The GPS Pitch Lab and GPS Pitch Competition are optional activities.
- Find Your AUP Path – Examine areas of career interest to spark your curiosity, helping you frame your academic, co-curricular and career pursuits at AUP and beyond.
- Power up Your Resume – Tips to get started on or improve your resume and ensure that it is ready for a job search in the AI age.
- Craft Your Cover Letter – Learn to write an effective cover letter to showcase your interest and fit for your target career opportunities.
- Culture in the Workplace -– Gain tools for understanding cultural professional differences and building cultural intelligence in the workplace.
- Master Your Job Search – Learn how to select, prioritize, and make contact with potential employers.
- Ace Your Interviews – Gain insights on how to prepare for job interviews through research and learn approaches to answering interview questions.
Career Field Study - Working with Others: Enhance your understanding of the complexities, challenges and rewards of working with others as well as your capacity to address these situations through work or service experiences. A written reflection is required to complete this exercise.
Beginning in the Fall of 2026, ACE will use Compass for workshop signups and attendance. All degree-seeking undergraduates can access their GPS progress on Compass.
