Project
Claudia Roda (Computer Science, Math and Environmental Science): Data: Science and Society
Professor Claudia Roda leads this project on data science education for fully engaged and ethical citizenship. Roda is working to compile this work in course notes, that could become a textbook, for her course Data Science: Methods and Context. Second, Roda is undertaking a set of consultations with AUP faculty and students to explore how data science methodologies would best serve the disciplines and courses in the AUP curriculum. This both informs her research and creates greater awareness about data science amongst faculty. This part of the work will result in the organization of a workshop on data science education in future semester.
