Designing Your AUP Workshop

University Room: David T. McGovern Grand Salon (C-104)
Wednesday, November 8, 2017 - 17:00 to 20:00

The President’s Office is collaborating with Student Development and the Academic, Internship and Career Advising Center to organize a workshop exclusively for AUP first-year students. The workshop examines how students can align their academic choices with their values and vision using design thinking.

College is about more than just going to class, choosing a major and getting good grades. What is your dream? How can you be sure to live a meaningful life? Are you managing your time the way you would like? These are some of the questions we will ask in this dynamic workshop aimed at helping students make the most of their time at AUP while also preparing for life after college.

The second half of the workshop will feature an interactive session with colleagues and upper-class students available to talk to students about careers, internships, study abroad, volunteering, leadership, time management, health and wellness and other opportunities.

Spots are limited and sign up will be on a first-come, first-served basis. First-year students can sign up at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NFR6YB7
