Gilets Jaunes Demonstrations Update to Students

It is part of our Safety & Security blog that rounds up all the latest news and updates for our community.

Dear Students,

Today there are two demonstrations that have been announced: one  will start at Place de la République and will head towards La Défense when the other one will go from the Gare Montparnasse to the Bassin de la Villette (see declared itineraries below). Both are schedules to start around 12h-13h.

This Saturday demonstrating on the Champs Elysées and around the National Assembly is again prohibited.

As usual several metro station will be closed at different moments of the day. You can find more details on this onwww.ratp.fr or www.sortiraparis.com

Itineraries :

  1. République, Bd Stalingrad, Barbès, Villiers, Place du Maréchal Juin, Porte de Champerret, Ave de la Porte de Champerret, pont de Courbevoie, rue Baudin, Ave Gambetta, Arche de la Défense.
  2. Gare Montparnasse, Bd Montparnasse, Port Royal, Bd St Marcel, pont d'Austerlitz, Bastille, Bd Richard Lenoir, Quai de Jemmapes, rue la Grange aux Belles, Colonel Fabien, Stalingrad, Bassin de la Villette.
