Favorite Lunch in the AUP Campus Area

For a quick bite, my go-to is a Sandwich au Thon and Babka from Liberté. For a sit down meal, the Indian restaurant Khajuraho right across from La Tour-Maubourg is amazing.

My “Global Explorer” moment

I grew up traveling a lot with my family and loved exploring new places and cultures. So much so, that when I went to college, I chose a school that required study abroad, knowing they would have a good network of schools to go to. My study abroad semester in New Zealand solidified my love for travel and experiencing new things and allowed me to grow and become more independent. This experience is what made me feel confident in moving to England for my master’s degree and most recently here, to Paris.

Favorite day trip from Paris

Amiens is a beautiful small city in Hautes-de-France. The river Somme runs through the city and there are lots of canals with restaurants. If you follow the river to the east of the city you will get to Les Hortillonnages, an area with so many canals that lots of small islands have been made with gardens and houses on them. On a nice Spring day, it is the perfect place to walk around. While in Amiens, be sure to try their specialties: Macarons d’Amiens and Ficelle Picarde.
