Depending on your student status, you are eligible for the following housing options:

Incoming first-year undergraduate students

For your first year, we cater to all your housing needs. The University requires all new first-year undergraduates to arrange housing via our Housing Office. When you get here, ready to start your new life in Paris, all you’ll have left to do is unpack.

Graduate students and returning undergraduates

You are ready to live on your own in Paris and have the option of searching for an independent apartment through our Housing Office or finding something on your own.

Independent Rooms and Private Apartments. AUP’s Housing Office is a free service for our students.  We collect listings from independent landlords in Paris and advertise available apartments on our internal database. Prices for apartments in our network vary greatly, but on average students pay €500 – €900 per month for rent.  Electricity and Internet are not generally included in rent, and together should cost around €80 – €100 per month total.

If you plan to search for housing outside of our network, check out our housing resources or feel free to consult our guide: Searching for Housing on Your Own.pdf
